Implementation of Medium Current Control for Grid-Connected PV for Maximum Power Point Tracking

This work presents a photovoltaic (PV) system connected to the grid, with the Disturb & Observe method to search for the maximum power point tracking (MPPT) with ranging solar radiation levels through medium current control. The circuit was simulated using PSIM. The use of a passive series LC filter allowed the current injection with a sinusoidal waveform. The power factor is high 0.99 with a low harmonic distortion rate (HDR) of 10%.
