Experimental Registration of Self-Mode-Locking Regimes in a Helix TWT With Delayed Feedback

For the first time, we experimentally obtain self-mode-locking regime in a CW centimeter-wavelength helix TWT with delayed feedback. We register pulse sequences with about 200-ps duration, duty ratio of about 0.3, and peak intensity of more than seven times larger than the mean intensity of the output radiation.
