Three-layer Optimization Strategy for Industrial Battery Storage System

To actively promote the application and development of industrial battery storage, a three-layer optimization strategy for the industrial battery storage system is proposed. The Layer-I strategy is dedicated to maximizing the user's monthly earnings by planning the rated power, rated capacity, and maximum demand value. The Layer-II strategy is formulated to maximize daily earnings and optimize the battery storage operation power ahead of the day. Subsequently, the Layer-III strategy adds real-time control, updating and optimizing the outcomes derived from the Layer-II strategy, aiming to solve the optimal operation strategy in the short term and thereby further enhance the benefits. Finally, an example simulation is carried out on the MATLAB platform to verify the economic effectiveness of the strategy.
