A Robust Model Predictive Direct Speed Control with Improved Cost Function

In conventional MPDSC, the fixed weighting factors will deteriorate the dynamic and steady-state performance under different conditions. Thus, the speed and its differentiation based fuzzy control is proposed to adjust the weighting factors of the MPDSC online. Then, the dynamic and steady-state performance are improved. Furthermore, the parameter mismatch is also considered in this paper. Therefore, online parameter identification based on recursive least square (RLS) algorithm is also designed to improve the robustness of the PMSM drive system. Finally, simulations and experiments are performed to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method.
