Wireless Power and High-Speed Full-Duplex Data Synchronous Transfer System Based on OFDM Method

The power replenishment underwater has emerged as critical factors constraining the endurance and intelligence of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) and the data collected by AUV should be transmitted to the dock. A simultaneous wireless power and data transfer (SWPDT) system for AUV can realize the demands. In this paper, a system with a frequency band about 28MHz has been proposed with OFDM modulation, in which, the communication channel and power channel share the same inductive link to send and receive the data and power. The system can realize full-duplex communication with a communication rate at 4.53MB/s, simultaneously, the system can also transfer the power with an efficiency of 86% at 200 W. The full-duplex communication has been presented to demonstrate the proposed system.
