Practical Design Method of Inductors Based on High-Precision Iron Loss Measurement

This paper proposes a practical design procedure to minimize both volume and loss of the magnetic core of the inductor for the AC filter circuit of the full-bridge inverter. This paper focuses on the losses of the core material and volume ratio of the inductor, and measures them with high accuracy, and compares and evaluates them by the core material and volume. This is expected to reveal a design method for the inductor for the AC filter circuit, considering a practical design that optimizes both the size and efficiency.
