Analysis and Design of SIMO CPT System with Constant Output Voltage Pickups against Load Variation and Pickups Moving in/out

This paper proposes a novel SIMO CPT system with capacitor matrix, which can achieve constant voltage (CV) output and zero phase angle (ZPA) against load variation and pickups moving in/out. An equivalent model of the SIMO system is established, so as to the parallel-LC and series-LC network is analyzed and designed to achieve a load-independent constant voltage output. A relay-controlled capacitor is designed and adopted in the primary side without double-sided communication, which is used to compensate the variation of capacitive reactance under pickups moving in/out. As a result, ZPA and CV operation mode can be always achieved even if the pickups move in/out.
