A Multi-Objective Optimized Control Method for Dual Three-Phase Synchronous Motor with Open-Circuit Fault

The DTP-PMSM, known for its fault tolerance, low voltage requirement, high power capacity, and stable torque output, is extensively employed in electric vehicle applications. With an increase in the number of motor phases, the inverter power component count rises, leading to a higher failure rate. Consequently, there is a growing need for fault-tolerant control of polyphase motors. Therefore, a multi-objective model predictive control method is proposed in this paper to optimize and improve this problem. By constructing virtual voltage vector and zero vector, the harmonic plane is adjusted in real time to take into account the stator copper consumption and phase current amplitude of the motor torque stability. Simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed fault-tolerant control strategy.
