The Model of Bidirectional CLLC Resonant Converter with Variable Frequency and Single Phase Shifted Control

Many papers analyzed the model of LLC and CLLC resonant converter with diode rectification stage, but the efficiency is limited due to large forward voltage drop of diode. Some papers focused on studying how to simultaneously control the primary and secondary switches with complementary driven pulse. In this case, the current flows through the channel of the switch but LLC will be transferred into a SRC and many literatures have investigated the model of it. But few articles gave the model of the CLLC resonant converter in this case. Therefore, in this paper, the model of the CLLC resonant converter based on FHA with respect to the frequency and phase shift angle is proposed, considering single phase shifted & frequency control modulation strategy. An experimental prototype is built to verify the model accuracy.
