Communication Method of SOC Based on Power and Signal Dual Modulation in the DC Microgrid

A converter communication method directly utilizing the converter itself for information transmission, named as power and signal dual modulation (PSDM), is proposed to realize DC microgrids control by compiling the transmitted data, which has low delay time, low cost, and high reliability. The battery SOC is extracted from the batteries in the DC microgrid and transmitted through the converter, so the droop coefficients are adjusted according to the demodulated received data to achieve stable control of the DC bus voltage. Finally, simulation results verify the theoretical analysis.
