Research on the Switch Reuse Dual Buck/Boost-DAB Four-Port DC/DC Converter

This paper investigates the design and analysis of a dual Buck/Boost-DAB (Dual Active Bridge) four-port DC-DC converter in the field of electrical engineering. The converter’s structure integrates interleaved parallel dual-directional Buck/Boost converters with a DAB converter, achieving power switch reusability and efficient bidirectional energy conversion. Firstly, the paper introduces the topology and operation principles of this converter. Then, a detailed analysis of the control strategies for the converter is conducted, including current control and voltage control strategies, to achieve efficient energy transfer. Additionally, key issues such as steady-state operation characteristics and power flow states are discussed. Finally, through MATLAB/Simulink simulations, the paper confirms the efficient performance and feasibility of this converter in various application scenarios. This study provides valuable reference and guidance for the design and application of four-port DC-DC converters.
