Control Method of PV Direct-Drive Modular Power Supply System for CO2 Electrolysers

This paper proposes a modular DC/DC converter, that can directly drive CO2 electrolysers by the PV system. The CO2 electrolysers are connected in parallel to both outputs of the PV power generation through isolated DC/DC converters. And the energy storage modules are supplemented to reach the maximum power output of the PV system. For different voltage requirements of the CO2 electrolysers, the control method is studied, which can achieve the flexible regulation of the CO2 electrolyser power supply. At last, the simulation model is built in MATLAB/Simulink & PLECS, and the results verify the feasibility of the method.
