A Multi-Objective Orderly Charging Strategy for Electric Vehicles Considering Continuous State

The growing popularity of electric vehicles intensifies the disorderly fluctuation of power load in residential areas, and it is urgent to manage the power. Orderly charging is an effective method that can effectively reduce power fluctuations. However, existing studies have not fully considered the impact of the multi-day charging frequency of vehicles on daily load fluctuation. Therefore, this paper proposes an orderly charging strategy considering a continuous state to reduce load fluctuation and charging costs. First, 600 vehicles are scheduled to travel within 30 days using the Monte Carlo method. Second, the objective function and constraints comprehensively consider load fluctuation and charging cost. Then, the multi-objective charge optimization is solved based on the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to an Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). Finally, the simulation results are analyzed to verify the effectiveness of the proposed strategy.
