A Method for Section Positioning of A Small Current Grounding System Based on The Dynamic Time Warping Distance of Transient Current of A Metal-Sheathed Grounding Wire

Cables are common when working in medium voltage and small current grounding systems, and are usually grounded at both ends of metal sheaths. When a single-phase fault occurs, a ground current is generated in the grounding wire. In this paper, the fault transient current in the metal sheathed ground wire of three-phase cable is taken as the characteristic quantity, and a method of cable segment location based on Dynamic Time Warping (DTW) distance is proposed.
