Hierarchical Operation Management System for Mobile Ad-hoc Microgrids in Emergency Events

To maintain power supply to critical loads after emergency events, low-power containerized mobile Ad-hoc microgrids with optimal operation management are a feasible solution. In this paper, a novel two-layer hierarchical operation management system for multiple mobile Ad-hoc microgrids supplying to multi-critical nodes is proposed. The proposed operation management system not only includes optimal energy management within one mobile Ad-hoc microgrid and among the networked mobile Ad-hoc microgrids, but also achieves optimal dynamic relocation of the multiple mobile Ad-hoc microgrids connecting to several critical nodes. Experimental and simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed hierarchical operation management system.
