Power Decoupling Method for Droop Control Inverters Based on Voltage Compensation

Distributed generation (DG) units are usually connected to low-voltage power grid. There is a serious power coupling problem between P and Q as the impedance ratio of R/X is large. Virtual impedance is the most widely used method for power decoupling, but its decoupling ability is limited due to its limited voltage compensation ability. This paper analyzes the relationship between the coupling coefficient of P and Q and the value of line inductance and virtual inductance. On this basis, an improved power decoupling method based on apparent power feedforward (APPFF) is proposed to solve the problem of insufficient voltage compensation ability in traditional virtual inductance decoupling methods. Finally, simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed decoupling method.
