Electric Submersible Pump Equivalent Circuit System Analysis

Electric Submersible Pump (ESP), as a kind of mechanical oil recovery equipment, has been widely used in recent years. This paper investigates an equivalent circuit of ESP system that can be proposed to extract the motor stator voltage, the differential mode voltage between the filter, cable, transformer, and motor, thus paving for the following experiments. The finite element model of the long cable was created in ANSYS 2D Extractor Design software. The inverter model and the mathematical model of the sine wave filter, three-phase delta-y transformer, and the high-frequency model of the motor were created in ANSYS Simplorer and connected to the ANSYS 2D Extractor Design model for co-simulation.
