Modeling and High-Order Differential Feedback Control for Totem-pole PFC

Totem-pole PFC is a feasible DC source of hydrogen production energy due to its many an advantages. Therefore, this study delves into the refined modeling and optimization control strategies of totem-pole PFC. The Generalized State-Space Averaging (GSSA) method is employed to construct a precise large-signal model of totem-pole PFC, whose accuracy is validated by means of MATLAB. And a small-signal model is established using perturbation linearization for stability analysis. Additionally, this study introduces the High-Order Differential Feedback Control (HODFC) as an outer-loop control strategy for totem-pole PFC system. This approach is compared with the traditional PI controller using a MATLAB/Simulink-based simulation model, verifying its faster dynamic response and higher stability margin.
