Analysis of the Swash Plate Torque of Double Row Axial Piston Pump with Valve Distribution

To solve the problem of swash plate torque imbalance of axial piston pump, a double-row axial piston pump with valve distribution is proposed. In order to optimize the torque characteristics of the staggered double swash plate in the valve flow distribution double row axial piston pump, the stress situation of the staggered double swash plate was analyzed, and a mathematical model and AMESIM simulation model for the torque of the staggered double swash plate were established. The effects of the plunger distribution circle radius, plunger diameter, and the staggered angle of the inner and outer plungers on the torque of the swashplate were studied. The results show that the pulsation rate of swash plate torque increases with the increase of the distribution circle radius and the diameter of the inner row plunger, but decreases with the increase of the distribution circle radius and the diameter of the outer row plunger. However, the change rule of the swashplate torque is opposite. The distribution radius of the inner and outer plunger should be as close as possible, and the diameter difference between the inner and outer plunger should be reduced to reduce the resultant torque. The change in the stagger angle of the inner and outer plungers has little effect on the resultant torque of the swashplate, but has a significant impact on the torque pulsation rate. The pulsation rate first decreases and then increases as the stagger angle increases. When the stagger angle is 1/2 of the plunger angle, the pulsation rate is the smallest. The research results can provide a theoretical basis for the optimization design of the swash plate of the valve flow distribution double row axial piston pump.
