Research on the Rotary Characteristics of the Digital Hydraulic Rotary System of Rotary Drilling Rig

In order to reduce the impact pressure at the start and stop of rotary drilling rig, improve the stability of rotary motion process and the accuracy of rotary positioning, the digital hydraulic technology is applied to the rotary system of rotary drilling rig. Firstly, a digital hydraulic rotary system and digital hydraulic motor of rotary drilling rig are designed, and the working principle of the digital hydraulic rotary system is introduced. Then, a mathematical model of the digital hydraulic rotary system was established, and a system simulation model was built in MATLAB/Simulink to simulate and analyze the dynamic performance of the system. Finally, a digital hydraulic rotary system was installed on a certain model of rotary drilling rig and compared with the original hydraulic rotary system for testing. The experiment results show that compared with the original hydraulic rotary system, the digital hydraulic rotary system significantly improves the stability of the rotary speed and the rotary positioning accuracy, and it reduces the impact pressure at rotary start by 20.6%, the impact pressure at slewing brake by 32%, and the pressure at the driving hydraulic motor during the rotary movement by 42.8%. It greatly improves the rotary performance and working efficiency of the rotary drilling rig, and reduces the energy consumption of the whole machine. At the same time, the great advantages of digital hydraulic rotary system in rotary drilling rig provide practical reference value for the promotion of the application of digital hydraulic technology in construction machinery.
