Simulation Analysis of Dynamic Characteristics of Degassing Valve Under Different Working Conditions

Focusing on the dynamic characteristics of the degassing valve on marine boiler under different working conditions, a one-dimensional simulation model of the degassing valve and its pressure system were established by AMESim, based on the structure and working principle of the degassing valve. By changing the parameters of the pressure system, the dynamic characteristics curves of the valve were obtained and a separated study was done for the working condition. The dynamic performance of the valve under different working conditions could be evaluated through analyzing the data. The results show that the degassing valve with better dynamic characteristics can be obtained by increasing the pipeline length and pressure vessel volume appropriately and distributing the pipeline evenly. The influence of flow rate on dynamic characteristics is more significant in short pipeline and small volume, and the higher the flow rate, the worse the characteristics; with the increase of pipeline length and pressure vessel volume, the influence of flow rate gradually decreases until it can be ignored; the frequency of valve vibration is 8.4Hz, which is the same as the frequency of the pressure fluctuation in the pipeline, rather than the natural frequency of the valve(29.15Hz),therefore the violent chatter is caused by the forced vibration of the gas in the pipeline rather than the structural factors of the valve itself.
