Study on the Stress and Strain Characteristics of the Interference Fit of the Interference Locking Hydraulic Cylinder

This article constructs a structural of interference locking hydraulic cylinder and explains its working principle. Establish a finite element simulation model for the interference locking hydraulic cylinder, and analyse the stress-strain characteristics of the cylinder barrel/locking sleeve. The results show that the maximum equivalent Von Mises stress of the cylinder barrel and locking sleeve in the locked state are 466.77 MPa and 159.7 MPa, respectively. The radial deformation of the middle fitting section of the cylinder barrel is evenly distributed, but there are slight wave fluctuations. The average radial deformation of the middle fitting section of the cylinder barrel is about 0.1366mm. The average contact stress of the cylinder barrel/locking sleeve contact surface is 44.438 MPa, and edge effects occur within a range of approximately 10 mm from the contact edges on both sides. There are sticking zone and sliding zone on the contact surface of the cylinder barrel/locking sleeve, without any near zone. In addition, this paper also systematically studies the influence of axial load and radial load on the equivalent Von Mises stress, contact pressure, sliding distance of the interference fit, providing technical support for the development and application of the interference locking hydraulic cylinder.
