A Study of Automatic Unlocking Fault Mechanism for Aerial Refueling Pipe

This study investigates the automatic unlocking fault mechanism in aerial refueling pipes. Firstly, an analysis based on the working process of the aerial refueling pipe was carried out to explore the pressure fluctuation transmission path of the hydraulic oil leading to the fault. Then, a mathematical model of the main working components in the hydraulic system was established, and the effect of the component parameters change on pressure fluctuations was analyzed using AMESim. Finally, an automatic unlocking fault experiment was conducted for verification. The results show that after 0.06 seconds of the electro-hydraulic switch being disconnected, the aerial refueling pipe experienced pressure fluctuations and automatically unlocked to move with a peak of 2.64MPa. The valve taper of the electro-hydraulic switch and the throttle diameter of the restrictor valve have a significant effect on the pressure fluctuation within the hydraulic system.
