Distributed Information System Software Code Reliability Evaluation

Distributed information systems play a key role in the modern world, therefore it is critically necessary to be able to assess its reliability, for which it is possible to apply an integrated approach. Initially, most of the potential errors and failures that occur during operation are embedded in the program code. It follows that the performance of the system depends not only on the algorithm, but also on the correctness of its program code. The paper considers the metrics of code connectivity and establishes its connection with the theory of automata. The reliability of the code is assessed based on the principles of structural reliability assessments.
