The study highlights the importance of addressing these challenges to unlock the economic growth potential for Malaysian SMEs. The article also provides real-life examples from around the world where leading companies like Google Nest, Tesla, FedEx, and Amazon have successfully utilized the Internet of Things (IoT) and cloud solutions. The Malaysian government possesses the potential to facilitate the adoption of these technologies through the implementation of awareness campaigns, fostering collaboration among relevant stakeholders, and providing customized consultancy services. The successful integration of the Internet of Things (IoT) and cloud computing has the potential to effectively enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and broaden market access for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Malaysia. Consequently, this synergy can significantly contribute to economic advancement in the country.
