Comprehensive Analysis of Different Types of Load Frequency Control Algorithms for Tie Line Connected Power System

Load Frequency Control (LFC) maintains a balance between generation of power and load demand during system operations to ensure the stability and dependability of multi-area power networks. The numerous LFC techniques that have been developed and utilized for multi- area power network which are thoroughly analyzed and explain in this paper. By comparative simulation characteristics, it discusses both traditional and contemporary control strategies and enlightening all possible performance parameters with their advantages, drawbacks and possible implementation. After obtaining results, we can easily choose the suitable control techniques depending upon the required application for optimum performance of power system networks.
