Polarization Modulator using MXene Coated Side Polished Fiber

In this work, a Titanium Carbide $(Ti_{3} C_{2} T_{X})$ coated side-polished fiber is integrated as a polarization modulator in all-optical modulation system. Due to thermooptic effect, the injected L-band signal (1565nm) is modulated by a 980 nm laser diode. A total rotation of 63.83° degrees is achieved when laser diode pump power is increased to 110.2mW.
