Research on Milling Performance of AlCoCrFeNi High Entropy Alloy

AlCoCrFeNi high-entropy alloys have excellent properties such as oxidation resistance, high hardness, wear resistance, and high temperature resistance, but there is a lack of research on mechanical processing in AlCoCrFeNi high entropy alloys. This article prepared AlCoCrFeNi high entropy alloy and milled it using a Computer Numerical Control machining center. Four factors and four levels orthogonal experiments were used to analyze the influence of milling parameters on milling force. The experimental results indicate that the spindle speed is the most important factor affecting milling force, followed by milling depth, feed rate per tooth, and finally milling width.
