Estimation method of direction of departure via constant modulus constraint on multicarrier signal

Aiming at the problems of complicated installation and calibration, high power consumption and high cost in the current multi-antenna array device for measuring radio direction of arrival, this paper proposes a multi-carrier departure direction finding method with constant modulus constraints, which only uses one omni-directional receiving antenna to receive signals, and two omni-directional transmitting antennas simultaneously transmit multi-carrier signals, and extracts the departure direction from the constant modulus constraints of carrier frequency and amplitude of transmitted signals and received signals. The experimental results show that the standard deviation of the departure direction measured by the method proposed in this paper is 0.3673 degrees when the ratio of carrier power to noise power spectral density of a receiving antenna is 24dB.
