Use of the A6 metric to evaluate university students' online performance in Taiwan

This research uses the newly formulated A6 metric to investigate and evaluate Taiwanese university students' online performance and mobile learning experiences. There were 416 university students who used their smartphones to take part in the online survey during October 2023. The results discussed in the paper indicated that five factors (Accessibility, Affordability, Adoptability, Adaptability, and Acceptability) had a positive feedback. However, Appropriateness related to culturally sensitive issues were needed to be strengthened. The researchers aimed to provide pedagogical guidance for university teachers, students, higher education administrators, and policymakers for future mobile teaching and learning improvements.
