Research On Thermal-Fluid-Structure Coupling in the Valve Plate Pair of an Axial Piston Pump

The multi-field coupling modeling and solution of the axial piston pump friction pair form the foundation for researching piston pump failure mechanisms and improving reliability. To address the challenging multi-field coupling model of the axial piston pump valve plate pair, a dynamic coupling model is proposed, taking into consideration the oil film thickness, pressure field and temperature field. The coupling model is established by combining the Reynolds equation and energy equation, based on the force analysis of the cylinder block. The dynamic boundary conditions are determined according to the actual operating state of the axial piston pump, and the dynamic coupling model is solved using the finite difference method. The simulation results enable an analysis of the influence of the pressure field and temperature field on the lubrication characteristics of the valve plate.
