A Comparative Analysis of RF Absorption Perspectives in Liver and Lung Tissue Using SAR Quantification

RF devices are becoming essential in modern life. This type of RF absorption is becoming crucial for human health. All living things’ most vital organs are the liver and lungs. We compare how the liver and lungs absorb radiofrequency radiation to better classify organs by radiation sensitivity and enhance patient and public awareness. The experiment was controlled via simulation software. The transmitter and receiver were one metre apart, and a non-metallic stand held the goat liver and lung samples in the centre. The main data was recorded with a 10°-step size from 0° to 360°. After adding a goat liver and lung sample to the stand, the data was captured using the previous configuration. Data was recorded without samples in this arrangement. RF radiation is absorbed more by the lung sample than by the liver sample. Lung tissue’s specific properties cause this. Following this, we used MATLAB to examine the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR), and we discovered a higher graph for lung tissues. We also plotted this graph for 3D SAR visualization. A better understanding of RF absorption in the liver and lungs was achieved by comparing free space data obtained from two different organ samples. Free space data with lung sample tissues had a cross-correlation of 233.496 when analyzed for 0 degrees; however, free space data with liver sample data had a higher value of 497.019. Lung tissue samples do, in fact, absorb more radiofrequency radiation. Despite being conducted in a facility with low external $R F$ radiation, this experiment will be more effective in a completely insulated chamber.
