A Terahertz Dual-frequency Slot Patch Antenna Optimized by INFO Algorithm

This paper presents an improved design of a dual band patch antenna operating in the terahertz band. Load double "E" slit on the radiator to change the current distribution on the antenna surface to optimize the antenna's performance. The antenna model is simulated with HFSS electromagnetic simulation software and optimized with the new INFO algorithm. The return loss value of the optimized antenna is greatly reduced in the high resonance band and reaches -48.8dB at f=651GHz. At the same time, antennas can work in near 300GHz (290GHz ~ 310GHz) and near 650GHz (640GHz ~ 670GHz) bands to achieve dual frequency design goals. The antenna has a simple structure and good performance and can meet different optimization design requirements by changing individual parameters.
