Designing a Multifunctional Army Robot Utilizing Camouflage Technique

The rapid advancement of science has led to the development of technologies aimed at improving human life, particularly in the field of defense where innovations like the Camouflage Robot have been created to mitigate loss of life in hazardous military operations and disasters. Inspired by chameleons’ camouflaging technique, this robot integrates a camera module, TFT LED display, ESP32 microcontroller, cloud-based IoT interfaces, and a customized mobile application for data retrieval and management, along with Raspberry Pi and Pi camera for image processing. Additionally, it is equipped with temperature sensor (DS18B20), metal sensor, ultrasonic sensor, and MQ9 gas sensor to detect environmental factors like temperature variations, metallic objects, obstacles, and gas concentrations, enhancing its functionality. The robot’s operations can be remotely controlled via a mobile phone interface, offering flexibility and ease of use in diverse scenarios, ultimately representing a significant advancement in defense and disaster management technologies, minimizing human casualties and enhancing operational efficiency in challenging environments.
