Reconstruction of ERT Sensitivity Matrix Using Kernel Function

Electrical Resistance Tomography (ERT) is widely used for various process detections, offering fast-response, low-cost, and non-invasive advantages. The sensitivity matrix is the most key factor that affects the ERT reconstruction quality. But to date, few efforts have been made to analyze and reconstruct the matrix. In this paper, the sensitivity matrix is generally reconstructed after using a specific kernel function. According to the new sensitivity matrix, a pre-iteration ERT imaging method is proposed. Experiments show that the proposed imaging algorithm enhances ERT imaging quality with high accuracy, time resolution, and strong robustness.
