Depending on several coupler design techniques, this paper investigates Branch Line Coupler(BLC) analysis. Reduced size, harmonic suppression, and fractional bandwidth are explored in detail based on available data. The investigation focused towards the inexpensive substrate material(FR-4)in order to achieve cost-effective Branch Line Coupler(BLC).
