Designing a Full Stack Application for Integrated HORECA Management System: User-Centered Approach

The hospitality industry has been revolutionized with the development of the Integrated HORECA Management System (IHMS) application, which aims to enhance customer experience in the food service industry. This web-based application offers comprehensive solutions for table management, order management, inventory management, and customer relationship management. To develop the IHMS, the project followed an agile development process and used various tools, such as user story mapping, sprint planning, daily stand-up meetings, sprint review, and sprint retrospective meetings. Industry experts and end-users collaborated in developing and testing the IHMS application, and the results demonstrate that it is effective in improving operational efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing customer experience. The agile development methodology employed allowed for flexibility and responsiveness to changing requirements and priorities. The IHMS application has the potential to transform the hospitality industry by providing a comprehensive and user-friendly solution for managing and optimizing business operations.
