IoT Based Implementation of Gesture-Controlled Robot

Internet of Things also known as IoT encompasses of a network that includes a variety of material objects, devices, appliances, automobile, and various devices. These objects come equipped with sensors, software, and connectivity, allowing them to gather and exchange data through internet connectivity. A robot controlled by gestures refers to a specific type of robot that is operated by human gestures and movements, rather than relying on conventional input methods like keyboards or joysticks. It utilizes sensors to interpret and analyze the gestures made by a person, allowing them to communicate with the robot and command it to perform certain actions. This research paper outlines the development and execution of a gesture-controlled robot utilizing Arduino technology. The proposed system allows users to control the movement and actions of a robot through hand gestures. The robot is furnished with an Arduino microcontroller, an accelerometer, and an RF module for wireless communication with a controlling device. The accelerometer captures the gestures, which are subsequently analyzed by the Arduino. The Arduino translates these gestures into suitable commands to direct the robot's actions. Experimental findings provide evidence of the proficiency and precision of the proposed system for recognizing gestures.
