Analysis of Selected Parameters of Midel 7131 Ester with Addition of Aluminum Oxide Al2O3

The article presents studies on the effect of Al
2
O
3
aluminum oxide on the water content, breakdown voltage, dielectric loss factor tgδ at 90 ̊ C and acid number of the electroinsulating liquid, which in this case is the synthetic ester Midel 7131. It was also investigated what effect the addition of surfactants (oleic acid, ROKwinol 80 and TritonX) to the prepared nanofluids had. All samples were tested in the same way, according to the standards presented in the paper. The motivation to undertake the described research is the noticeable increase in articles on nanofluids and the wide field for the creation of various colloidal liquids, while there are still gaps in the literature describing the mechanisms of influence of nanoparticles on the physicochemical parameters of the base liquids used.
