Areas of Impact of Nodal Powers on Power Flows in a Power System

The problem, which is solved in the paper, is clustering in a power system. Existing solutions to this problem have a number of shortcomings. The paper presents considerations leading to the development of a more advantageous method than the existing clustering methods. In those considerations, the authors take into account the impact of nodal powers on branch powers in the power system. The use of the developed method is shown on the example of clustering for the IEEE 14 Bus Test Case. A discussion of the properties of the method ends the paper.
