Exploring the Influence of DJ-2D/3D Absorber Layer Thickness on TiO2-Based Perovskite Solar Cell Performance

The exploration of a solar cell TiO2/(FA0.85MA0.15)Pb(I0.85Br0.15)/(FA0.85MA0.15)Pb(I0.85Br0.15) /Spiro-OMeTAD (DJ-2D/3D PSCs) through variations in the DJ-3D absorber layer thickness is the main focus of this work. One can use the Solar Cell Capacitance Simulator (SCAPS-1D) program to simulate the device. With DJ-2D and DJ-3D acting as the absorber or active layer, TiO2 acting as the electron transport layer (ETL), and Spiro-OMeTAD acting as the hole transport layer (HTL), the device's structure is optimized. Maximizing photon absorption from solar radiation is the objective. The performance of the device is being examined in relation to thickness changes. The maximum PCE is noted at the thickness value that is greatest. The DJ-2D/3D based cells' PV characteristics as a consequence are: FF: 81.61%, PCE: 22.09%, VOC: 1.076V, and JSC: 25.14mA/cm2.
