A Dual-Band Linear Polarization Converter with Notch Characteristics

A dual-band linear polarization converter which has the notched characteristics has been proposed in this paper. The structure achieves the characteristics of multiple and notched band by cutting slots on rectangular metal sheets. The working mechanism of the structure was also analyzed and analyzed. A sample was made, and the simulation results were in well agreement with the measured results. The presented structure achieves notched bands within dual frequency ranges, which is significant for reducing isolation bands and enhancing spectral efficiency in multi-frequency structural applications.
