Wideband Radiation-Type Programmable Metasurface for Low Side-Lobe Beam Scanning

Programmable metasurfaces are capable of precisely modulating electromagnetic (EM) waves in a digital, informative manner in real time, which have gained remarkable attention in wireless communications and antenna engineering. In this paper, an innovative design of radiation-type programmable metasurface for dynamic modulation of radiant EM wave is presented, which perfectly introduces the stripline feed method. By employing the unequal amplitude and unequal phase stripline network to lower sidelobe and dynamic adjust beam scanning.
