Frequency and Polarization-Multiplexed Multifunctional Coding Metasurface

In this paper, a frequency and polarization-multiplexed multifunctional coding metasurface is proposed, and the proposed metasurface is capable of achieving different functions at different frequencies and polarizations. The proposed multifunctional metasurface consists of two layers of dielectric substrate and three layers of metal patches, and the amplitude and phase responses of different polarizations and frequencies can be obtained by adjusting the rotation direction of the double-slit ring and the opening direction of the C-shaped metal patch, respectively. A vortex beam is achieved when a circularly polarized electromagnetic wave at 19 GHz is incident, and a beam split is achieved when a linearly polarized electromagnetic wave at 10 GHz is incident.
