Simulations Design of a C-band Travelling-wave Accelerating Structure

In this paper we numerically investigate a compact C-band travelling-wave (TW) accelerating structure including the regular cells and couplers. This accelerating structure utilizes a cell shape with curved tops and elliptical fillets, achieving an average shunt impedance up to 94MΩ/m through optimizations. In the coupler design process, a new strategy is adopted for matching, significantly simplifying the matching process while maintaining high computational accuracy.
