Design of A One to Two Broadband Wilkinson Power Divider Based on A Compact Structure

This paper proposes an improved design method for a Wilkinson power divider based on a compact structure, which can achieve broadband characteristics and significantly miniaturize circuit dimension. The results show that the performance characteristics of the frequency range from 2GHz to 10GHz of this Wilkinson power divider are satisfactory. The transmission characteristics of the Wilkinson power divider are analyzed by using the normalized Euclid distance (NED) which is a combination of fidelity and pulse amplitude ratio and can give a comprehensive description of wave distortion and amplitude changes of the Wilkinson power divider. After calculation, the fidelity, amplitude ratio and NED of the Wilkinson power divider are 0.993, 0.905 and 0.149 respectively
