A Reflective Random Modulation Metasurface Design Method

In this paper, a reflective randomly modulated metasurface antenna is proposed. By selecting the metasurface cell structure and adjusting the structural parameters, a number of metasurface units with low correlated reflection phases are derived. The metasurface aperture, which is composed of the metasurface units distributed randomly, is fed by a rectangular horn antenna. Random radiations in the operation frequency band of 32GHz-36 GHz are achieved, which produces a total of 41 measurement modes with the correlation of lower than 0.3.
