Bistatic Scattering Center Extraction Based on Perturbation OMP Algorithm

Compared with the traditional monostatic radar system, the bistatic radar system has the advantages of low cost and high concealment. Since the scattering center parameters estimated by the traditional orthogonal matching pursuit (OMP) algorithm are all on a determined grid, the requirement of estimating the scattering center parameters of bistatic targets cannot be completed. To address this issue, a new algorithm called perturbed orthogonal matching pursuit (POMP) has been introduced in this paper. It is used to estimate the scattering center parameters of targets based on the Bistable Attribute Scattering Center Model (BASCM). According to the results and case analysis, the perturbation OMP algorithm has higher computational accuracy than the OMP algorithm.
