Research on a Super-Resolution Imaging Method Based on a Left-Handed Material Cylindrical Superlens

In this paper, a super-resolution imaging method based on the assistance of a left-handed material cylindrical lens (LHMCL) is proposed. Aiming at the loss of super-resolution information in the received scattered field, a super-lens made of left-handed materials is constructed to recover evanescent wave components carrying fine information near the target. Besides, due to the spatial sparsity of target's distribution, the compressed sensing (CS) method is used to recover the target contrast distribution. Combined with the LHMCL’ physical properties, the imaging resolution can reach 0.05 wavelength, realizing the super resolution imaging.
