A High-power Capacity X/Ku Band Duplexer

A high-power capacity duplexer spanning X and Ku bands and its accompanying waveguide-to-coaxial converter are proposed. The entire device consists of a duplexer and three waveguide-to-coaxial converters. The lower and higher working frequency ranges of the duplexer are 8 to 10GHz and 15 to 18GHz, respectively. From the simulation results, the power capacity can reach about 5KW. The proposed duplexer has great potential for reliable use in space microwave devices.
